Make Up For Ever Smoky Stretch Mascara - Holy Grail Status?

make up for ever smoky stretch mascara review
My lashes with 2-3 quick coats of MUFE Smoky Stretch.
My lashes here are about 2x to 2.5x their normal length with this
Every now and again a mascara comes along that breathes a little life into my sad, pathetic lashes. I'm like the princess kissing billions of frogs looking for that one special mascara that will make me feel a little less lash-challenged. I often find that despite whatever claims brands make, when it comes to my lashes very few actually make a difference.

My natural lashes are very thin, sparse, short and straight--thank you half-Asian genes. Ironically, lashes are the number 1 thing I find most attractive in women--go figure! You can see a picture of my natural lashes in a previous review I did of another MUFE mascara a while back HERE.

MUFE consistently formulates some of my favorite mascaras. I don't know what they're doing differently, but we gel. When MUFE announced they'd be releasing a new lengthening mascara I was more than excited!

I'm pleased to say, this mascara lives up to its name and really gives those lashes a good deal of length. I shared my experience on instagram, but wanted to make sure those that don't follow me know just how fabulous this formula really is!

My Thoughts - This is a fantastic mascara! I find it lengthens well, separates lashes and holds the curl in my lashes (I curl mine every time I wear mascara) fairly well. The formula is slightly thick and tacky, but perfect when coupled with the silicone brush that comes with this tube. I find that doing 2-3 quick coats results in a noticeable amount of additional length.

I'd also like to point out that unlike some lengthening mascaras I've worked with in the past that leaves lashes crunchy and hard, this actually left my lashes super soft and flexible--just lovely!

This is not a waterproof formula, so you'll want to coat it with a waterproof clear or black mascara if that's a concern until MUFE released the aqua version of this formula (at least I hope they release one!).

All in all, really fabulous mascara that does exactly what it's meant to do! I'll be grabbing a few tubes of this for my kit because it is that impressive in my opinion.

Have you seen this at Sephora? What do you look for in a mascara?
