Marchesa All Over Body Mist Profile

The fabulous red carpet fashion brand Marchesa has released an All Over Body Mist in their top-selling fragrance, PARFUM D'EXTASE, exclusively at Sephora. The fashion brand Marchesa was inspired by fashion icon and Italian heiress Marchesa Luia Casati and has become a celebrity and fashion-lover favorite.

Scent

Marchesa PARFUM D'EXTASE is described as opening with "light florals, giving way to a combination of fresh and musky notes that create the scent’s complexity and beauty. Iris is the secret to the fragrance’s richness, capturing the delicate essence of its flower petals and the dark sensuality of its precious roots."

On inhale from the bottle, the floral notes are definitely the strongest. On me, the floral and musky notes are equally as strong, though with wear the musky note seems to come to the forefront a tiny bit. Keep in mind, fragrances smell differently on each person so this may not be true for you.

Wear

This fragrance lasted throughout the day on me with conservative application.

Price

This retails for $45 for 3.4 fl oz

Where to Buy

This is a Sephora exclusive and can be purchased in-store or online HERE

My Thoughts

If you are a fan of this scent or musky floral scents in general, you will definitely like this All Over Body Mist! While body chemistry plays a part in how fragrances translate on your skin, I think it will appeal to a broad audience of late 20-somethings to more mature fragrance lovers. This has a rich, musky floral scent that was surprisingly strong for a body spray (in a good way). It did not take much to produce a pleasantly noticeable scent that lasted all day on me. In comparison with the original PARFUM D'EXTASE, the price point is extremely great value-wise for the All Over Body Mist. As a slightly more sophisticated scent, this is perfect for fall/winter!

Are you a fan of floral fragrances? Will you be giving this a try?

    1. I'm pretty sensitive as well so I tend to prefer citrus and fresh scents (or light florals), but I do love a good perfume!

    1. Isn't it? I used to work as makeup artist at a beauty store way back (shocking I know!)and we had to learn a lot about fragrances on the side. It's amazing how different things can smell on different people!

    1. If you're not a floral fan then definitely try it in-store before purchasing just in case! I'm a citrus/fresh and light floral person myself. This is definitely a deep, sophisticated floral-y musk :)
