Top Valentine's Day Beauty Gifts
1. Pacifica Coconut Kiss Creamy Lip Butter
Despite being a lip butter, Pacifica's Coconut Kiss lip butters are quite pigmented (especially lava) and work well for beauty lovers that prefer super natural products. These are hydrating to wear and while they're not necessarily long-wearing, they are easy to apply and great for on-the-go.
Price - $10 retail

2. Anna Sui Moisturizing Care Kit
The beautifully feminine Anna Sui has released a limited edition Moisturizing Care Kit that comes complete with nail care oil, hand cream and lip balm in a pretty little branded cloth pouch. As always, the products are beautifully packaged and wonderful to use. Given the number or products you receive, the kit is well priced, making it a budget-friendly, yet still impressive Valentine's Day gift.
Price - $20 retail

3. Pacifica Power of Love Eye Shadow Palette
Pacifica is one of the more popular natural makeup brands out there, perhaps best known for their lovely smelling moisturizers and fragrances, they do offer a moderately extensive beauty collection as well. These shadows in particular are great for those that try to avoid ingredients commonly used in most consumer eye shadows for allergy or health reasons. The shade selection is soft in nature, making them great for those that prefer natural looks and gentle washes of color. While Pacifica is not necessarily a brand I'd recommend for die-hard color junkies, it is great for those with ingredient sensitivities as well as those just beginning to explore color cosmetics or who prefer softer final looks.

4. Pamela Barsky Pouch
While I mostly own 6x8 pouches (a very handbag convenient size in my experience), Pamela Barsky offers a broad variety of sizes and shapes--8x10, 5x7, pencil, dimensional and dopp kits. If you're unsure of which pouch(s) to buy, try grabbing a mystery box. I've been pleased with my mystery purchases in the past.
Price - $15+ retail (varies by size and style)

5. Ann Sui Cream Cheek Color
Anna Sui cream cheek colors are gorgeous in every way. The formula itself is lovely, shades are complementary and the packaging is both functional and fabulous. These are the types of products you enjoy displaying on your vanity as much as you do using them. The top of the little pot conceals a sponge applicator while the bottom compact holds the cream blush. Ranging from dainty pink to fuchsia, orange to red, it's hard not to want to grab them all!
Watch for swatches later this winter.

7. Doki Doki by Japan Crate
|Look at those cuties peeking out!|
You may have heard us gushing over Japan Crate's Doki Doki subscription in the last couple months. This adorable subscription service delivers a fun box chock full of kawaii goodness to your door every month! The value of each box definitely exceeds the monthly service fee and I can personally attest to the fact that despite shopping regularly at what few shops there are around me that carry Japanese goods, I could never find the majority of items they send without paying decent amounts online (and paying overseas shipping along with tax). Even with a sister that lives in Tokyo I'd spend more having her ship things than by subscribing! This subscription service makes this hapa VERY happy and I highly recommend it for any kawaii-loving, manga-enjoying, Miyazaki-adoring peeps.
And yes, I know this isn't technically beauty, but it is adorably cute and who doesn't need some more cuteness in their lives?
Price - $30/monthly subscription

8. Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Lipstick
We're running, keep holding my hand, so we don't get separated...
Don't mind me, anytime I write about this collection I can't help singing a handful of No Doubt and Gwen Stefani songs to myself as I type. I really like the UD x Gwen Stefani collection, but I think the lipsticks were the standout products for me because I'm a huge fan of UD's lipstick formula and they were the most versatile in terms of being wearable for a global range of complexions. Pick from any of these shades and I'm sure they'll make any beauty lover happy!
You can see more of the UD x Gwen Stefani collection from my earlier post.

9. MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour
While these have been out for a little while I think they're so fabulous that they deserve a spot on this gift guide because I have yet to come across a fellow beauty lover that hasn't fallen head over heels for how wonderfully these perform--not to mention the amazing shades. I love them and I recommend them, especially to those like me that can't stand how drying some of the other liquid lipstick formulas are out there. This is one of several formulas I find to be comfortable enough to wear without wanting to rip my own lips off!
I wrote about them when they first launched.

I hope this gift guide helps those making last-minute Valentine's Day gift purchases for their favorite beauty lover! Good luck.
For anyone else itching to hear a little No Doubt after my mention above, here you go. My realistic-love Valentine's Day song to you all... Does that say something about my feelings on love? My senior high school self thought so (since that's how old I was when it came out), perhaps my 30-something self does as well. lol
