Making Your Own Sunshine All Year Long with BIC® Soleil® Glow® Razors

Sponsored

Temperatures are dropping like crazy--at least they are if you’re up north like I am. And while fuzzy sweaters may be a big part of my wardrobe, fuzzy legs are not! I know it may sound odd, but this New Englander doesn’t let her legs or underarms go just because I’m bundled up from head to toe.
While the fact that I can’t handle the feeling of unshaven skin is certainly motivation to shave, so is the general health of my skin. Shaving is actually a really great way to gently exfoliate delicate skin! Nobody wants to emerge from a long winter with scaly skin, after all. It’s easier to maintain than do major skin therapy later.

BIC® Soleil® Glow® Razors are new to me, but I have to say, for premium disposable razors I’m impressed. The COMFORT SHIELD® head does a great job preventing the razor from applying too much pressure with the actual blades on your skin—who doesn’t want that? I also like that the COMFORT SHIELD® head is large enough to help evenly distribute pressure, but isn’t so large that you end up missing giant strips of fuzz between passes. The handles, which are nicely shaped to comfortably fit in the hand, come in cute pastels that remind me of sea glass—let’s be serious, we all know even when it comes to razors that an attractive design counts!
BIC® Soleil® Glow® Razors have 3 flexible blades that individually adjust to your curves —that’s so cool—and feature lubricating strips infused with Vitamin E and Aloe to pamper your skin.

Now I know that fall and especially winter can get pretty gray and drab. Snow is pretty, until it’s covered with dirt from the road, piled 10 feet high around you and the sun rarely makes an appearance behind thick, gray, snow-filled clouds. However, I try to make my own sun by planning my warm-weather, tropical travel as soon as the temperatures drop! If you’ve followed me for a while you know I’m a big fan of traveling and like many up north, I like to head where the sun is shining and the ocean is warm when fall and winter are at their coldest. So while I may not be able to spend my entire fall and winter down south or playing in the Pacific, I keep things bright all year long by giving myself little breaks in warmer weather and bringing that warm, sunny feeling back home with me.
I know I’ve only been back a month, but I can’t wait for my next trip in December to warmer weather. In the meantime, I’ll make my own sun and keep my skin tropical-weather ready with my BIC® Soleil® Glow® Razor!
