Scentbird May Be the Monthly Subscription of my Dreams!

Press Sample

If you have a picky nose, but love perfume, I may have the perfect monthly subscription for you! Save yourself from those headache-inducing trips to the fragrance counter and consider a subscription to Scentbird--a new-to-me monthly subscription service focused solely on exposing you to exciting designer fragrances. I was recently sent one of Scentbird's monthly fragrances to try out and I'm actually pretty excited about it!

First of all, I love the fact that it comes in a case that's refillable and purse-ready. It's roughly the size of a giant lip balm tube and while closed, prevents your perfume from going off in your purse. To expose the nozzle, you simply twist the base then press down on the top button to use it like a regular perfume sprayer. Twist again and the nozzle recedes back into the case. No more clouds of spilled perfume punching you in the face the second you unzip your handbag!

Should you choose to subscribe, the process of choosing your monthly fragrance(s) is pretty easy. After creating an account, subscribers can search fragrance suggestions to add to their queues by personality, occasion, scent type and even season. I did a mock search to see whether or not it matched me with any scents I knew I already loved based on my fragrance preferences and it pulled up a couple of my favorite scents along with others I'd be willing to try! You can also do a direct search for perfumes by name.

The entire concept of Scentbird is pretty neat because you can add perfumes to your queue that you know you love along with others you're willing to explore--shake things up a bit!

The monthly subscription price is $14.95/month and with that comes what Scentbird refers to as a 30-day supply (based on the assumption you use 4-sprays per day), which comes out to .27 oz. That's actually not bad considering the fact that some of my designer fragrance favorites cost $29 or more for .25 oz on the lower end.

Scentbird does offer a men's subscription through their site as well for the same price and through a similar process.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in head over to Scentbird.com to sign up! I can see this being a great holiday gift idea this season.

What do you think? Would you give this a try? If you do end up signing up let me know what you think.
