BeautyPopStop's Holiday His & Hers December Gift Guide Vol 15

Some of the products in this post may have been provided by PR/the brand for consideration

This is the last gift guide volume of the 2013 season! Hopefully you're nearly done with your shopping and this guide has been helpful in giving you some inspiration.

It's that time of year again! Each year BeautyPopStop publishes a holiday gift guide geared towards men and women, featuring a variety of exciting products. The Hubs and I have put our heads together once again (don't forget to check out his men's section above for men's products) and we have some pretty amazing gift ideas to share with you this year!

Each edition features one gift idea for women (or general beauty lovers), one gift idea for men and one stocking stuffer (items $25 and under).

Sigma Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit

Sigma's Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit has a great variety of face and eye brushes for someone looking to flesh out or start their makeup brush collection! It is a completely cruelty-free set of makeup brushes, made with Sigma's synthetic Sigmax bristles. This set of 12 brushes comes in a cut cylindrical brush holder that converts from travel container to 2 tabletop brush holders. I have a few friends who have this set and love it! It has been on my wishlist for a while. If this set is out of your budget, you may want to consider the travel Mrs. Bunny kit, which includes 7 brushes with travel-size handles for $75.

Homemade Guinness Truffles (21 Plus Only)

This gift suggestion is only recommended for those 21 and over. While the Hubs and I aren't big drinkers, he's a fan of Guinness (shocking given that he's Irish) and I love alcohol-infused chocolate (in all fairness I love just about all chocolate!). This recipe comes directly from Guinness and is supposed to be amazing! If my youngest gets well soon I plan to make them for Christmas! Prices will vary based on ingredients used, but given how few ingredients there are, it should be a pretty budget-friendly and delicious project!

Ingredients

Makes 25 Truffles
  • 1 kg dark chocolate in small chunks
  • 400ml cream
  • 100ml GUINNESS®
  • Zest of 1 Orange
  • Cocoa or coconut powder

Stocking Stuffer: MAC Heroine Lipstick (permanent)

You've probably already seen the news everywhere, but MAC Heroine lipstick is now a permanent part of MAC's lipstick range. I was fortunate to already own it, but I know quite a few MAC fans have been hunting for it so it could make a fantastic stocking stuffer! If the person you're buying for already owns Heroine, you can check out the other MAC (and other brand) lipstick swatches indexed on the blog! I'm still working on updating the list, but there's a decent variety for now.

Make sure you use promo FAST at checkout to get free 2nd day shipping today!

    1. Oh for sure! That's why I always tell people, MAC is notorious for re-promoting and making LE's permanent so just wait it out UNLESS you have to have the special packaging (which even then for me isn't worth non-retail).
