I've broken down products below with swatches and reviews.

Paul & Joe Beaute Sugar and Spice Cat Blusher Stick Swatches and Review

Product Type

This is a cream blusher stick that has the most adorable cat face and kitty-themed packaging.

Shade

The cat blusher stick in the Sugar and Spice set is a watermelon-pink.

On the Face

This cat blusher stick is super cream and well pigmented. I honestly may have whimpered a little bit as I swatched this because it is almost too cute to use, but it's fabulous that this is as great to look at as it is to wear! You can easily build it up in color and create a faint blush or full on flush.

Paul & Joe Beaute Sugar and Spice Eye Color Duo Swatches and Review

Product Type

This is an eyeshadow duo split down the middle. The screw-on lid has a cute cat on it of course!

Shades

This duo comes with a deeper color and lighter color, which complement each other.

Left - light-medium red-brown base with olive-gold flash
Right - peach base with gold flash and gold micro-glitter

On the Eye

The deeper color is buttery and provides a lovely wash of color with a subtle flash. If you're medium complected like me and you really want to get that flash to show strong, pat this over a deeper brown or black to get a stronger effect! The lighter color is soft and provides a nice wash of peach with some lovely gold glitter. The glitter is super fine and not gritty. It is slightly more powdery texture-wise than the deeper color so there may be faint glitter fallout. This can be used as-is for a dainty wash of peach or over a light base for a stronger effect. I think both colors are a lovely take on neutral shades.

Paul & Joe Beaute Sugar and Spice Eye Gloss Swatch and Review

Product Type

This is a pearly cream eyeshadow sporting a cute little cat on the tube.

Shade

This shade is very pearly, yet delicate.

This is a super pearly white-gold.

On the Eye

You may have seen the recent "gloss on the eye" trend. I still haven't wrapped my mind around using actual lip gloss on your lid, but thankfully this is nothing like a lip gloss--it's a perfect cream shadow. This is very reflective and extremely pearly. The color is a lovely white-gold that applies evenly and dries fairly quickly. I absolutely loved this formula!

Look Using Limited Edition Holiday Paul & Joe Eye and Cheek Color Set

I wanted to create a quick look using the products in this set because they're so pretty and soft! Here's what I came up with...

Products Used:

  • Paul & Joe Beaute peach color in duo (patted on inner 2/3 of upper lid)
  • Paul & Joe Beaute brown color in duo (patted on outer 1/3 of upper lid, blended under lower lashline)
  • deep brown in TheBalm Nude'Tude palette (blended into crease)
  • Paul & Joe Beaute eye gloss (patted into inner corner)
  • MUFE aqua eyes liner in 0L (tight-line/waterline)
  • Too Faced Better than False Lashes (upper lashes)
  • MUFE Aqua Smoky Lashes (lower lashes)
  • Inglot eyeshadow #358 (blended into edges of deep brown in crease)
  • Inglot eyeshadow #351 (blended under brow, blended into edges of Inglot #358)
  • Inglot brow powder #565
  • Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette (used to highlight highest planes on face)
  • Paul & Joe Cat Blusher Stick (blended lightly into cheeks)

My Thoughts

I think this set is perfection! The products are fantastic in every way and the theme is too cute. Can you say no to these little kitty faces? I think not! I love when products look and perform equally well.

Just for good measure, I though I should include another pic of this amazing little guy!

I think this set would be perfect for a cat lover or makeup lover, just be prepared for the crazy reaction he/she is certain to have once they open this amazing gift! Definitely a must this holiday season in my book!

If I pick up the other limited edition holiday set of eye and cheek colors (Gingerbread) I'll be sure to share my swatches and review. Pretty sure I need every cat-related  lippy and blush Paul & Joe Beaute has ever made!

What do you think? Are you dying for this kitty-themed makeup set by Paul & Joe Beaute?
