vueset pro palette makeup, hair and nail storage cases review

VUESET Pro Palette and Case Profile

Created by veteran hair stylist and makeup artist Brenda Green, VUESET offers a line of super versatile, functional pro palettes and cases meant to store a broad variety of products and tools. Palettes and cases are made of high-quality acrylic, making it easy to see what they hold within, and designed to neatly stack on top of one another.

I should note that in order to make sure I kept the different models organized while reviewing, I peeled off the clear stickers that came on the protective sleeve of each palette or case and put it on the back of each one. You could easily purchase clear stickers from office supply stores or online and print or write (with permanent marker) the names and shades of the products you store inside of these palettes and cases.

How many times have you guys considered purchasing those plastic, sectioned-off containers at craft stores to store some of your supplies? Trust me, these are sturdier, more secure and they're 100% clear!

VUESET Bonanza Pro Palette Case Review

vueset bonanca pro palette case review

Product Type

This is a 15 compartment acrylic pro palette case meant to store cosmetic products. This pro palette case is 4.5" x 4" x 1.25".

Storage Flexibility

Given its size and the number of compartments, this case will easily allow you to store a number of cream products, small decorative supplies (glitter, rhinestones, etc.) and just about anything else you can think to fit within it as long as they're fairly small. I can see a pro palette case such as this being especially appealing for both makeup artists and nail techs or makeup and nail enthusiasts.

VUESET Disco Prima Pro Palette Case Review

Vueset disco prima pro palette case review for hair, makeup and nails

Product Type

This is a multi-functional pro palette case with 1 large compartment and 12 small compartments of varying sizes. This pro palette case is 9" x 4" x 1.25".

Storage Flexibility

Given its setup, the large compartment can easily hold longer items such as pencils, liners, dotting tools, etc. The small compartments can easily hold cream products or small embellishment supplies (glitter, rhinestones, etc.). I tried a number of brushes in the longer compartment, but as I prefer longer brush handles such as MAC, Royal & Langnickel, etc. they did not fit. If you have brushes (such as travel size) with shorter handles they may fit well in the longer compartment.

My Thoughts

I love palettes and cases such as this that allow you to use them as you wish! I also love the uniformity between the sizes, making it easy to stack and store them at makeup, hair or nail stations as well as in train cases, drawers, etc. I know quite a few pros that love VUESET (it's not hard to see why) and I can see these being very appealing to beauty enthusiasts that want more compact ways to store hair, makeup and nail supplies and products. I think the prices are fabulous for the value and the acrylic has proven to be sturdy during the time I tested them. I did find that some of the smaller cases and palettes were a tiny bit harder to open (though not difficult enough to make them less functional), but I love that the lids are super secure--it's a bit of a catch-22. You definitely don't want your products and supplies spilling out in transit! The variety of different compartment sizes is great and even the smallest compartment can hold a fair amount of product because of the depth of the palettes and cases.

If you're interested in purchasing these, I'd recommend determining what you wish to store in them ahead of time and then purchasing the models that best suit your needs. I think you'll find these super functional and convenient. I can see these being added to quite a few holiday wishlists this season!

What do you think? Could you use VUESET pro palettes and cases to better organize your beauty products and supplies?

    1. For sure! My glitters and rhinestones and whatnot usually come in jars and it's a pain to have a handful on my makeup table--I knock them over like nuts lol. This is MUCH easier!

  13. How are these with keeping things from mixing? Are they super secure, like items won't mix together and do things dry out faster? I'm not a professional makeup artist, but I would love to put some cream products, concealers, or foundation in small amounts in there to travel with, but I don't want it drying out or transferring between compartments. I would love to hear what you say. Thanks.

    1. As far as mixing, semi-solid products such as creams won't mix unless you do it yourself when you use your spatula or brush on the palette. I personally wouldn't put things such as glitter in here because that's SO fine and would likely mix. As far as drying out, things that are likely to dry out with air exposure will likely dry out over time. I haven't had this happen yet, but I would assume that would be the case. I have some cream foundations that do really well in palettes like this such as graftobian. I'd only put as much product in as you would use in a few days or a week if that's a big concern just to be safe. While these have a nice seal, they're not 100% airtight from my understanding and from what I've heard from other pros that use them product do well in them, but it would really be on a by-product basis as to how long it could go in something semi-air tight like this before things would dry out. I personally wouldn't recommend using these for liquid concealers or foundations because product would get on the lid during travel and then when you opened they could mix. Also, depending on temperatures I'd assume liquid products could leak out if they got hot. I hope that's helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions :)
